An important aspect of lowering risk of cardiovascular disease, is to have your blood pressure checked regularly. This is one of the most important screenings because high blood pressure usually has no symptoms so it can’t be detected without being measured.
Zumba….Pretty much the most awesome workout ever. Dance to great music, with great people, and burn a ton of calories without even realizing it. Join instructor Annie Simonetti of Assets Fitness Saturdays 10-11am and Monday’s 5:30-6:30 in the auditorium.
CHERUB CHOIR (Pre-K - Age 4 to Grade 1) This choir sings at the 10:45 AM service once every four to six weeks. We meet at 5:15pm in the Choir Room. We learn songs to sing in church (once every 4-6 weeks) and we play games that help us learn about music. If you have any questions about this group please catch Kathy Barr at church.
The Chancel Choir consists of high school graduates or older. This choir sings in church two or three times each month, usually at the 10:45am service with an occasional 8:15am service. We meet at 4:00pm in the sanctuary – no steps to navigate. All are welcome and encouraged to join us. If you have any questions about this group, talk to Kathy Barr or any choir member.
St. Mark's Quilters meet Tuesday mornings to make quilts for Lutheran World Relief in New Windsor, MD. If you can use a pen, scissors, tie a knot, or sew all are welcome to come and join us. Visit Outreach for more information.
