It is with sadness that the Council has accepted Pastor Stan's letter of resignation. We are truly going to miss him and his family. The Lord blessed St. Mark's Church with Pastor Stan and his family for over 10 years. We want to thank you for your service.

Congregational Meeting

WHAT A HARD DECISION!! The weather forecast looks marginal with potential precipitation snow/freezing rain/cold temperatures/wind and it is our sincere concern to to keep our members safe. Construction UPDATE--We are back in the Sanctuary

On November 17th, we returned to the Sanctuary and to our regular Worship schedule. Services will continue at 8:15 am and 10:45 am. While construction continue, we thank everyone for their patience.

St Mark Community Food Bank Receives State Award

Our Food Bank that serves over 950 individuals a month and provides over 40 Micah Food Backpacks to Winter Street School each week was awarded the 'Outstanding Rural Partner Award' from the Maryland State Food Bank in Baltimore in September. This is an annual award to the local food bank that best serves the goals and mission of feeding individuals and families. The St. Mark Food Bank allows families to choose what food they prefer along with providing a choice of meat, eggs and produce.

2015 Community Book Drive

The 2015 annual community book drive is coordinated by United Way, Hagerstown Area Religious Council (HARC), Hagerstown Rotary Club, and Early Childhood Advisory Council (ECAC). All books collected will be sorted during the 24th annual Day of Caring on October 8th and distributed to at-risk children to enhance efforts to improve literacy rates. St. Mark’s Community Food Bank Receiving Honor

Our Food Bank has been awarded the Rural Food Bank of the Year by the Maryland Food Bank and will be recognized at the Hunger Advocate Awards Breakfast at the Radisson at Cross Keys in Baltimore on September 17th.
