Renovation Update
NOTE: Worship Time & Location Change!
As our renovations continue, we are at a point in the work that we will temporarily lack heat and shut-off of our electric by the City. The new HVAC units have been installed. Work on the mural will begin in the near future.
The Church Council feels that it will be in everyone's best interest to temporarily move our worship across the street to the Girl's Inc. social hall. With this move, the council decided to hold a single worship service beginning at 9:30 a.m. with no Sunday school.
Worship Service will begin at 9:30 a.m. with communion being served on the first and third Sundays of the month, and Praise Services on the second and fourth Sundays. Worship will remain at Girls' Inc. until the beginning of November.
We realize that this time isn't necessarily your usual time of worship but we ask for everyone's patience while we continue to improve our building.
We understand that the common idea is that worship primarily takes place during Sunday morning in our sanctuary but this isn't necessarily what God has in mind. Although true worship certainly takes place when believers gather together, it should not stop or diminish when we go our separate ways or if we are temporarily located elsewhere. We should worship the Lord in everything we do, as well as every place we are located. Consider the words of Apostle Paul:
