What to Expect
Pardon our dust! We are redesigning our building to meet our future needs.
During this time we will need to access various locations in a different manner.
Beginning March 10th, to access the second floor of our Sunday school building, please use the entrance and stairs located on the Washington Street side of the building. You will need to walk through the alley and turn left to find the set of glass entry doors.
After March 10th, access to the lower level of the worship building (choir room, High School dept., Food Bank) will be available through the red doors located on the Washington Avenue side of the building.
We will continue to update this information as it changes throughout the renovation process.
Thank you for your patience!
We understand that attending a church for the first time can be an overwhelming experience. Here are some things you can expect when you are at St. Mark's.
The services are 60-75 minutes long and you may want to come a little early to make sure you find good parking. The service will include some great music, a message that is relevant to your day-to-day life, and great people who look forward to getting to know you.
Where do I go?
When you come for a service, enter through the main (red) doors of the building. Please let the greeters know it’s your first time attending, they will gladly answer any questions you might have. If you are joining one of our classes or small group studies during the educational hour, please enter through the glass doors – anyone will be glad to guide you in the right direction.
What should I wear?
Most people dress in casual or casual business attire for our services. We are more concerned about your inside than your outside, so dress how you feel comfortable and you will fit right in!
For Your Kids
They are welcome to join you for the worship service or we offer a safe and secure nursery area for infants through five years of age. Again, if you are joining us for the educational hour, we have classrooms for all ages.
